Application Procedure Fall Semester

Deadlines
Gathering information: from February 15, 2010
Submission of application form: from February 25, 2010
Deadline for submission: June 20, 2010
Screening of application form: within 15 days of submission
Issuing of admission: as of March 20, 2010
Start PIEC Fall Program: September 1, 2010

Required documents

  • Group T’s written permission (original letter, scanned copy, e-mail) to enroll in the PIEC
  • filled-in application form (pdf, 37 K)
  • health insurance form (E111 or E128): your health insurance company can provide you with a form in which they certify that you will be insured abroad during your studies at Group T.
  • university or university college certification of bachelor studies

Non-EU nationals
Non-EU nationals also need the following documents:

  • medical Certificate from the Belgian diplomatic service in your home country
  • certificate of good conduct from the Belgian diplomatic service in your home country
  • declaration certifying that you will leave Belgium upon the completion of your studies, signed by yourself
  • proof of solvency: scholarship/study grant or guarantor letter accompanied by bank statements

Financial requirements

  • Payment for the Introduction Week: by international money transfer.
  • Deposit to secure your participation in the program.

European Credit Transfer System (ECTS)
The ECTS allows for transferring results and grades from one national system to another. Please note that your home institute should fully recognize these credits, but will only do so if your transcript shows that you have indeed achieved these results .
