How does it work?
Erasmus, the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Program (LLP) for higher education, enables you to attend courses or to work on your final project, outside of your country of residence. As an Erasmus exchange-student, you remain enrolled at your home university while spending a few months to a full academic year at Group T, free of charge. The credits you take on while studying at Group T will count towards the curriculum you started at your home university.

Who can apply?
You must be a citizen of a member state participating in Erasmus to be able to apply for the Lifelong Learning Program. The Erasmus-member states are all states of the European Union plus Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland, and Turkey.
Procedure
Once you've been selected by your home university, they inform the International Office at Group T. You then fill in the application form and learning agreement (by June 25 for the fall semester; November 15 for the spring semester) and send it to Group T:
- Download the Application Form (pdf, 75 Kb)
- Download the Learning Agreement (pdf, 48.50 Kb)
As soon as you arrive in Belgium, you turn to the International Office to enroll. You will need the following documents:
- the original and a copy of the document certifying you have medical insurance (E-128 or E-111)
- the original and a copy of the document certifying you are an exchange student, signed and stamped by the coordinator of the sending institution.
Once your learning agreement has been confirmed by Group T's Erasmus coordinator, they will inform you on how to register for the courses you selected.
