Group T houses the Co-chair Office of the UNESCO Chair for Cooperation between Higher Engineering Education and Industries. This is a Beijing Jiaotong University initiative, one of the key universities in engineering education in China and partner to Group T.
The UNESCO Chair wants to promote the cooperation between the engineering programs and industries by building up an international network.
Second UNESCO Chair Symposium at Group T
On November 21 and 22, 2006, prominent Chinese academics visited Group T during the UNESCO Chair on Cooperation for Cooperation between Higher Engineering Education and Industries.
Group T-Leuven Education College became an offical part of the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network in April 2010. Our teacher training program entered a worldwide network of educational institutes in 180 countries. ASP provides a framework to spread the UNESCO body of thought via innovative, long-term projects.
