Academic year
Group T’s academic year begins near the end of September and runs till the end of September of the next calendar year. A welcome week is organized for freshmen the week before the actual start.
Semesters, weeks, hours
The academic year comprises 27 weeks of classes, divided into two semesters: from the end of September till the end of January and from the beginning of February till the end of June. The first semester consists of 12 weeks, the second of 15. The number of instruction or contact hours varies from 24 (during the first year) to 20 (final year) hours per week.

No classes
Each semester is followed by a study and examination period of three weeks. The third examination period starts near the end of August. Classes are suspended on public holidays and during vacations.

Content
During the first semester, the program is made up mainly of lectures and seminars; the second of internships. Each academic year, 6 project weeks are programmed, grouped in two blocks of 3 weeks. During these weeks, the lectures and seminars are replaced by integrated projects within which the students can complete concrete assignments in small groups.
