Our Vision Explained

Johan De Graeve, President of Group T-International University College Leuven
Society's expectations of the engineer are evolving quickly. Their tasks and responsibilities are broader than ever before. They need to show that they can act upon change quickly and flexibly, but also that they can prime change and steer things in the right direction. This requires a clear view of the evolving world in which they find themselves and a keen awareness of their impact on the environment, humankind and society, nature and culture.
Group T offers an engineering program which meets these expectations. A program that addresses not only the technological aspects of engineering, but also the many other qualities the engineer should have to excel at in companies, in society, and in the world. Group T has translated this vision of an engineering program into the concept of Beyond Engineering.
The art of Beyond Engineering resides in seeing things not just one-dimensionally, but as part of an entire (eco)system. More specifically, it refers to the art of finding solutions without creating new problems, the art of making a real difference. That's how we see the engineers of the future: as agents of change.
Do you have what it takes to make a real difference? Then you are most welcome at Group T.
